Default 1" body

Might be a dumb question but where can i buy a 1" body lift for my taco? I've heard good things about the roger brown kits but is 4crawler the only place to buy them? There is so many damn options im not sure what i need. Does anyone have any experience with these body lifts? Whats up with the radiator drop? If i get the standard or ultimate lift blocks do i still need the bed spacers? the poly cab mounts? Any help is appreciated.

Daystar Suspension also sells a 1" body lift for Tacomas: Daystar Lift Kits for Toyota Tacoma -Wheeler's Off-Road, Inc- it's $215 and I'm not sure how it compares to the Roger Brown kit, but I would recommend the RB kit.

Roger Brown is really good about answering your questions, just send him an email about the kit and what he would recommend and I'm sure he'll tell you exactly what you should get (he's always answered my questions about his products). You do still need bed spacers even with the ultimate kit and I did not get the poly cab mounts. I had a 3" Roger Brown kit with Ultimate spacers, bed spacers, steering extension, bumper brackets, and radiator drop on a 2000 Tacoma (which was later stolen).

I have the standard performance accessories body lift. Welded the bed spacers in and it's been working fine for 6 years now. The radiator drop is just a set of brackets that keep your radiator at the same height as before the lift so as to not to stretch any hoses.

Ya it looks like that sky manufacturing kit is more than the roger brown one, and made out of cheaper materials. I am debating making my own i just need to know what all i need. I have access to a full machine shop so i don't think i would have any problems making it.

In that case

Step 1: Measure height of existing hockey pucks.

Step 2: Add 1 inch.

Step 3: Order some UHMWPE or HDPE in the correct thickness.

Step 4: Fire up the lathe.
