Default Tents

Well I need a new one, recomendations? Warnings? Good places to go look at them?

Looking for a nice tent, one room, nothing huge, and a good bang for buck sort of thing. Need it to hold up to the PNW year around sort of thing, I dont like puddles inside the tent when it rains.

I am thinking costco, the last tent was a 50 buck costco special that I purchased about 12 years ago.

After buying my REI tent, I wouldn't go back to costco. Worth the extra cash by far. Not to mention the 100% guarantee. If there is anything about the tent you don't like, or if it breaks, take it back. I know plenty of people who have done this to find the right tent for them.

Also if you join the co-op you get store credit back at the end of the year, and that cuts into the extra cost a great deal.

I guess I am the only one here that simply buys the $20 tent.

Best way to avoid puddles in the tent is to sleep in the truck.

well everyone has toled ya where to get one. but you can get over priced ones from cabellas or just go to sports authority in tacoma. i would get a 10x10 tent and a tarp if its goin to be raining and make yourself some blue sky. and dont put anything near the edges unless you want it to get wet.
